True Aspect has one contact channel: email. There is no form on this site, no newsletter and no chat, and nothing is collected from a reader who simply reads an entry.
Messages are read by the KLIMA Z.A.I., s.r.o. editorial team. A reply is normally sent within five working days, and within 30 days in the case of a privacy request, as set out in the Privacy Policy.
What is useful to write about
- Corrections
- A factual error in an entry, a link that no longer works, or guidance that has been superseded. Naming the entry and quoting the sentence makes the correction quick. Corrections are made on the page itself and the review date is updated.
- Gaps
- A concept that readers need and the library does not cover. Suggestions are read, although not every one results in an entry.
- Privacy requests
- Access to, or correction of, information held about a sender. Putting "Privacy request" in the subject line routes it correctly. There is no charge for making a request.
- Trademark and attribution questions
- From a rights holder whose mark is named on the site, regarding how it is described.
What this address cannot help with
Two kinds of message arrive at sites like this one and are better directed elsewhere.
Support for a product. True Aspect is not the publisher of any software, is not a reseller and has no access to any vendor's accounts, subscriptions, licences or billing. A question about a subscription, a charge, a renewal or an installation has to go to the vendor that sold it. This includes refund requests, which only the seller can act on.
An incident in progress. If money has been sent, a device is behaving unexpectedly or an account has been taken over, the right first calls are the bank, and then the official bodies: Scamwatch for scams, ReportCyber via the Australian Cyber Security Centre for cybercrime, and the OAIC where personal information has been exposed. An email to this address will not reach anyone who can intervene.
A note on attachments
Please do not send attachments. Anything needed to understand a correction fits in the body of a message, and attachments sent to this address are deleted unread.
